INFORMATION ITEMS <br /> <br />CASE ~4: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />At its meeting on July 26, 1988, the City Council approved plans and <br />specs and ordered bids for lighting at Titterud tennis courts. <br /> <br />At its meeting on August 15, 1988, the City Council took the following <br />action: <br /> <br />A) <br /> <br />Lehn Electric was awarded the lighting contract for Titterud <br />tennis courts. <br /> <br />B) <br /> <br />Approved installation of utility sinks and necessary plumbing at <br />Central Park warming house and park center. <br /> <br />Approved installation of security system at Central Park <br />buildings; DeLuca, Hartley and Auspos to research a hardwire <br />system and report back to Council on August 23. <br /> <br />At its meeting on August 23, 1988, the City Council took the following <br />action: <br /> <br />A) <br /> <br />Approved advertising for a Community Development Director, <br />Building Maintenance Technician and Accounting Technician; <br />offering the position of Project Manager to former intern Jim <br />Gromberg; promoting Mark Boos to Utility Park Coordinator. <br /> <br />Authorized installation of a security system in Central Park <br />buildings that meets with Chief Auspos' approval; Councilmember <br />DeLuca to consult with Chief Auspos regarding security system <br />types. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Introduced ordinances to amend park dedication requirements and <br />regulate use of snowmobiles. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrat or <br />At t or ney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Direct or <br /> <br />X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
