CASE #3: Discussion of Trail System in Northfork Development

Chairman Donovan feels further discussion with North Fork Development
is necessary to insure requirements are being met concerning a trail
system in the development. The Commission agreed that further meetings
are necessary.

CASE #4: Discussion Res~rdin~ LAWCON/LCMR Application

After a dicussion the Commission agreed to apply for the grant again
this time with an emphasis on high priority items - hiking, biking
and Cross Country trails as well as a picnic shelter. Commissioner
Donovan suggested using financial figures from last year. The
Commission also agreed to meet within the next couple weeks at the
River's Bend Park site to plan out a possible trail system.
Commissioner Donovan said he would call Mr. Del Barbar from the DNR
and request he also be at the meeting.

The Commission agreed the Central Park development plans were a low
priority as far as the grant was concerned and thought it best to
postpone for this year.

CASE #5: "Results of "Goal Setting - Plannin~ for the Future" Workshop on
March 6, 1986

A brief discussion was had indicating as a priority the need for a
Park and Recreational Development Plan.

CASE #6: Request Resardin8 Park Land - Case of Ms. Marion Malone¥

It was the concensus of the Park Board Commission that Ms. Maloney's
land did not fit into their master plan for park development and
therefore were not interested in purchasing her land.

Chairman Donovan requested the commission look into the lighting system that
will be operational this year at Titerud Park. He suggested checking with
Anoka as to their policy. This needs to be discussed a future meeting.

Chairman Donovan also requested that Claudia Dodge update the Commission
on the upcoming Summer Program at the April meeting. Ms. Dodge agreed to do
SO.

Meeting adjourned at 8:t4 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,

Kathy Long
Ramsey Community School Secretary
