<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved or its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-05-125 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTH VALLEY INC FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 14-27; MISSISSIPPI RIVER TRAIL – RIVERDALE <br />DRIVE TO ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />on March 25th, 2014, the City Council approved proceeding with advance <br />construction for portions of the Mississippi River Trail through the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />on June 24th, 2014, the City Council approved continuing to proceed with <br />advance construction of the portion of the Mississippi River Trail through the Riverdale Drive <br />Extension/Reconstruction project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the bid of North Valley Inc. in the amount of $183,272.52 for the <br />construction of said improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is <br />accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> as of May 26, 2015 $0 has been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to North Valley, Inc. in the amount of $2,061.41. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Kuechle Underground, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 14-27; Mississippi River Trail Phase 2 in the amount of $2,061.41. <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of May 26, 2015. <br /> <br /> <br />4)That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />
