Mr. Cox stated that he would like to have it understood that just <br />because he is coordinating the development of River's Bend Park, <br />it does not mean that he is not in favor of Central Park. He <br />comn'~ented that issues like bonds and charters that are put to the <br />referendum to do not tell the total facts; the citizens should be <br />given a total picture of the issues. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION INPUT <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan stated that the well at Central Park came in at <br />$3000 less than bid and suggested that at least $700 be taken <br />from that $3000 saving and be used to plant trees at Central <br />Pa~'k. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner <br />Lokker that Council approve the planting of trees at Central Park <br />and that the trees be paid for from excess money saved on the <br />well at Central Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Donovan, Commissioners <br />Hetland, Johnson, Rustad, Lokker and Lichter.
