6) Regular Council minutes dated January 10, 1984. <br /> <br />7) Regular Charter Commission minutes dated January 12, 1984. <br /> <br />PARK BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />C~se #1: Flintwood Hills'SecondAddition P.U.D.: <br /> <br />Mr. Clayton Berg informed the Commission that the 350 units once planned <br />for the Flintwood Hills P.U.D. is going to change extensively. The Park <br />fee requirements on that property were fulfilled at the time Flintwood I <br />was developed. Mr. Berg stated that he does not know what is being <br />considered for open space in the P.U.D. itself; at one time there was talk <br />of a couple of tot lots. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lichter inquired as to zoning restrictions. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg replied that a portion of the P.U.D. is urban business which is <br />5-15 units/acre and a portion is residential which is 2-8 units/acre. <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan inquired as to the status of the P.U.D. proposed on <br />~y. 47 for a golf course. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg replied that the City has heard nothing on that proposed P.U.D. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg did note that Planning and Zoning would be conducting a public <br />hearing regarding the proposed Flintwood II P.U.D, On February 7, 1984. <br /> <br />Case #2: CitY OfAnoka's~RequestThatRamsey, Andover,~Anoka and Champlin <br /> ~O~§ider E'~abIi§hing A/QUR~ 'Cit~ ~c~a~i~haf~dvis6r~ BOar~: <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan referred to an article oublished in November in~-the Anoka <br />County Union which was critical of Ramsey's efforts in pursuing park <br />grants. Chairman Donovan stated that Mayor Gamec has met with Anoka and <br />informed them that Ramsey does not qualify for grants because of guidelines <br />that have been set. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that an attempt should be made at a Quad City <br />Recreational Advisory Board and that Anoka should not expect monetary <br />support from Ramsey for oarks. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Rustad and seconded by Commissioner Hetland that <br />Ramsey participate in the Quad City Recreational Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Johnson, Lichter and Rustad. <br />McLean and Lokker. <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan, Commissioners Hetland, <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner <br /> <br />Case #3: Review Of PropertieS For Central Park: <br /> <br />Ted Rouse, President, RYAA - Was present and and submitted in written form <br />what RYAA considers to be priorities items in the development of Central <br />Park. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the list of priority items, specifically <br />irrigation versus lighting.
