The City recently sent Septic
Maintenance reminders to homeowners in regard to coming into compliance with the State of
Minnesota private septic system maintenance requirements. This year, the City sent 386
reminders, which is significantly less than in years’ past. This means that most residents are to be
commended for having already completed the required maintenance. In some cases, residents
may have completed the work, but the City may not have the proper documentation.
