<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-06-161 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH ANOKA CONSERVATION <br />DISTRICT TO COMPLETE A STORMWATER RETROFIT ANALYSIS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Anoka Conservation District proposes to complete a stormwater retrofit <br />analysis within portions of the cities of Anoka and Ramsey in cooperation with the Lower Rum <br />River Watershed Management Organization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Anoka Conservation District was awarded $6,000 in Clean Water Act <br />grant funding which will be applied to the stormwater retrofit analysis work to reduce the City’s <br />cost share to complete the work at this time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lower Rum River Watershed Management Organization approved <br />funding an additional $2,000 of the stormwater retrofit analysis work to reduce the City’s cost <br />share to complete the work at this time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the cities of Anoka and Ramsey will benefit from the stormwater retrofit <br />analysis and have therefore been requested to fund all remaining costs based on the contributing <br />area of stormwater runoff from each city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />based on contributing area the City of Ramsey’s cost share will be $3,441 <br />to complete the proposed stormwater retrofit analysis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Anoka Conservation District requests that a Contract be executed with <br />the City of Ramsey to complete the proposed stormwater retrofit analysis work. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The Contract between the Anoka Conservation District and the City of Ramsey regarding <br />completion of the proposed stormwater retrofit analysis is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) Up to $3,441 is hereby approved for the City of Ramsey’s cost share for the proposed <br />stormwater retrofit analysis. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> <br />
