Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No:~ None. MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT Mayor Gamec brought up that the Assessor had mentioned that the property value on commercial and industry was scheduled for a 5% increase in discussions with area assessors and that it was being recommended. Mayor Gamec informed Council that he advsied the Assessor not to add the 5% increase on their property. However, the Mayor felt he should run this by the Council to see whether or not their feelings were the same as his in regards to this proposed 5% increase on property values and to see whether or not they went along with his recommendation not to add on this 5% increase to the property values. Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to move that the City Assessor not increase the property value by 5%. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Cox and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. City Attorney Goodrich informed Council there would be a series of Landfill meetings scheduled for February 14, 1982, with Anoka and landfill persons. Mayor Gamec informed persons present of the Ramsey Ice Skate Social, January 22, 23, 24, 1982 sponsored by the Community School. Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adjourn the regular Council Meeting. Motion carried.
