Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No:~ None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec brought up that the Assessor had mentioned that the property <br />value on commercial and industry was scheduled for a 5% increase in discussions <br />with area assessors and that it was being recommended. Mayor Gamec informed <br />Council that he advsied the Assessor not to add the 5% increase on their <br />property. However, the Mayor felt he should run this by the Council to see <br />whether or not their feelings were the same as his in regards to this proposed <br />5% increase on property values and to see whether or not they went along with <br />his recommendation not to add on this 5% increase to the property values. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />move that the City Assessor not increase the property value by 5%. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Cox and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich informed Council there would be a series of Landfill <br />meetings scheduled for February 14, 1982, with Anoka and landfill persons. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed persons present of the Ramsey Ice Skate Social, January <br />22, 23, 24, 1982 sponsored by the Community School. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adjourn the regular Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner.
