Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann that the <br />special meeting minutes dated February 9, 1982 be held for approval until <br />the next regular council meeting in order to give councilmembers time to <br />review them. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Reimann. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that in regards to the February 22, 1982 council minutes, <br />Page 8, paragraph 10, he had voted "yes" Further, to avoid confusion in <br />the future, a roll call vote should be utilized on all zoning matters. He <br />also commented that correcting the February 22, 1982 minutes would not chang <br />the outcome of the case and that it was not necessary to do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve council minutes dated February 22, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Reimann. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg that if <br />there is cause to proceed with the council meetings contrary to the order of <br />the agenda, it must be done so by motion. Further, that if any action <br />takes place later in the meeting with regard to a previously discussed matter, <br />it should be noted by footnotes. <br /> <br />~Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Reimann. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />NOTE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Council noted the following: <br /> <br />1) Regular Planning and Zoning minutes dated March 2, 1982. <br /> <br />2) Regular Park and Recreation Commission minutes dated February 18, 1982. <br /> <br />3) Regular Economic Development Commission minutes dated March 10, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox to send a letter to Mr. Ben Deemer requesting <br />that he enlighten Councilmembers as to any plans for the City such as a <br />junior high school. <br /> <br />Motion fails for no second. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Council noted the following: <br /> <br />1) Agenda for March 24, 1982 meeting of the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement <br /> Council. <br /> <br />2) Minutes of February 26, 1982 Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council <br /> meeting. <br /> <br />3) Minutes of March 6, 1982 Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council meeting. <br /> <br />C/March 23, 1982 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
