to note that Council did receive a copy of letter dated March 29, 1982 <br />from H & S Asphalt Company to Anoka County Highway Department regarding <br />Rum River Crossing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />Council noted Environmental Services Committee Meeting to be held March <br />31, 1982. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />authorize City Staff to issue a letter to the Anoka County Environmental <br />Services Committee requesting that they continue the policy that the Ramsey <br />City Council has worked to establish over the years regarding dumping <br />during certain times of the year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #6: Extension of 167th West of County #5: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka reported that he has had verbal requests from <br />residents for blacktop in this area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />authorizing City Building Official and City Engineer to perform an <br />investigation as to right of way and cost of blactopping 167th West of <br />County #5. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she had received a call from a lady <br />whose home had been burglarized during the last week, and further that <br />she wanted it made known to City Staff and City Council that she was very <br />impressed with the manner in which the Ramsey Police handled the matter. <br /> <br />Darryl Fults, Sr. - Regarding service road along 163rd in'Paul Anderson <br />Estates - Property owners along service road want to know if the service <br />road has been updated and how they can sell and build on these lots. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Fults that the service road was not updated upon <br />request from those property owners. Further, that the property owners <br />are required to update the road in order to sell and build. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adjourn the special council meeting. <br /> <br />Sp C/March 29, 1982 <br /> Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
