For results of the voting on this motion refer to paragraph 5 of this page. <br /> <br />Case #9: Award Of Bid For Ground Maintenance At City Hall: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-80 accepting the low bid of Mark Zelenak in the amount of <br />$35.00 per week to maintain the grounds at the Ramsey Municipal Center. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #82-80). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councitmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #8: (Completion of) Award Of Bid For Cleanin.g At City Hall: <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #4: Combining Of Lots On Bowers Drive: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to table <br />this item until such time as further information is received from the City <br />Engineer and City Attorney and further to direct City Staff to review the <br />area of Bowers Drive for like situations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #10: Award Of Bid For Cutting Grass In City Parks: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-81 accepting the low bid of Arnie's Ground Maintenance in <br />the amount of $18.00 per hour to maintain the Ramsey City Parks. (Please <br />refer to resolution file for Resolution #82-81). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated that Arnie is in violation of <br />Zoning regarding unlicensed vehicles and if the bid is to be awarded to him <br />it should be on the condition that he cleans up his act. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Case #11: Establishing Of Policy Regarding The Financing Of Public Utilities <br /> (Sanitary Sewer And Water) Storm Sewer And Streets In B-l, I-1, <br /> and R-1 Areas: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to appoint <br />an Ad Hoc Committee consisting of two Councilmembers, two members from the EDC <br />and City Staff members to develop a rough draft establishing a policy regarding <br />the financing of public utilities (sanitary sewer and water), storm sewers and <br />streets in B-l, I-1, and R-1 zoned areas which will then be submitted to the <br />EDC for their review and comments and then to the City Council for their action. <br />Further, the Councilmembers who are appointed to this Ad Hoc Committee will be <br />appointed in accordance with Council policy. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #82-32 which is contained as enclosure D3-j). <br /> <br />Motion carried.
