Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to direct <br />City Staff to continue to seek out State agencies assistance to provide the <br />City the ability to obtain the highest degree of bonding rating possible. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Van Wagner and <br />Cox. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Regarding Item 2 of Mr. Schnelles Staff Report, City Attorney Goodrich explained <br />that Federal Cartridge is in agreement to transfer the land to the City, but <br />not until the end of this growing season, as there is a farmer who is presently <br />renting the land. <br /> <br />Building Official <br /> <br />Mr. Berg reviewed his report with Council. <br /> <br />City. Assessor <br /> <br />Mr. Sorteberg stated that the effort to determine average farmland rental in <br />Ramsey was a good attempt, but the figure obtained really isn't a true figure <br />because it wasn't obtained according to size of parcel rented. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox asked Mr. Wirz, (arrived 8:25 P.M.) if he thought there was <br />going to be any problems getting the County to agree with Ramsey's figures regard- <br />ing rental value of farmland. Mr. Wirz replied that he didn't know, that he has <br />not submitted his report to the County yet. <br /> <br />Chief of POlice <br /> <br />Council noted. <br /> <br />City.Engineer <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka requested that assessment hearings be set regarding Street Im- <br />provement Projects #82-2 through #82-9. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-110 Declaring Cost to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation <br />of Proposed Assessment for Street Project #82-2 (Rodeo Hills). (Please refer <br />to Resolution File for Resolution #82-110.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilmembers Reimann, Cox, Sorteberg, and <br />Van Wagner. Voting no: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #82-110a Declaring Cost to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation <br />of Proposed Assessment for Street Project #82-3 (Barthel's Rum River Acres). <br />(Please refer to Resolution File for Resolution #82-110a.) <br /> <br />Motion carried.
