PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, September 28, <br />1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox (arrived at 7:40 P.M.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> <br />Jean Schlueter <br />Marilyn Gallagher <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order at 7:36 P.M. <br />Girl Scout Troop ~939 led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented a plaque to Girl Scout Troop #939 in appreciation for <br />their efforts to beautify the grounds at the Ramsey Municipal Center by <br />planting flowers and a tree. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Cindy Rychner - 6200 177th Lane N.W. - Mrs. Rychner wanted to know the existing <br />ordinance regarding hoofed animals and that she is sure her neighbor, Mr. Nugent <br />is in violation because he has 10 cows on his property. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Mr. Nugent has been in violation before, and he <br />assured the City he would only keep 3 animals on his property and the rest <br />of his animals would be kept on Mr. Henry Dill's property. Mr. Goodrich <br />stated that City Staff would make an inspection of Mr. Nugent's property. <br /> <br />Mrs. Rychner requested that the City report back to her after they have made <br />their inspection. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve the agenda with the following addition: <br /> <br />1. Council New Business - Case #14 - Approval of 1983 City Operational <br /> Budget. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Van Wagner and Cox.
