PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, <br />November 23, 1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka (arrived at 7:59 P.M.) <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting to order at 7:53 P.M. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />The regular meeting adjourned at 7:54 P.M. in order to hold the <br />following Board of Adjustment: <br /> <br />Brooks Superette, Inc.'s request for a variance to construct <br />a sign with more square footage than permitted by City <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting back to order at 7:57 P.M. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Bill Davis, Manager of Morton Buildings, Foley, Minnesota - <br />Requested approval of Hunt's Bus Company request to construct <br />a bus storage garage larger than code allows (48t x 120'). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that this matter could be placed on the agenda <br />but the City does require a site and design plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Davis stated that he does have a site and design plan, that <br />he does have another meeting to attend in Monticello, and that he <br />would Ieave the site and design plan with Mr. Berg. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that the Council meetings usually <br />run quite late and that Mr. Davis could return after his meeting <br />in Monticello. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed Mr. Davis that the Hunt's Bus Company request <br />would be discussed as Item #7 under New Business, <br /> <br />C/November 23, 1982 <br /> Page 1 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
