Council and Council tabled the case until their next regular, meeting. <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Auel has not gotten his property in order and <br />citizens are still complaining. Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Auel now also <br />has an advertisement sign on his residential property. <br /> <br />Mr. Auel stated that the advertisement sign has been removed from the property, <br />that he has not brought his trucks to the property since the end of October, <br />and that he ls slowly, but surely getting the logs cut up into firewood. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has heard that there is also a family residing in <br />a mobile home on the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Auel stated he did have company for two months and they have also left the <br />property. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested a time table from Mr. Auel regard£ng completion of cutting <br />up his logs into firewood. <br /> <br />Mr. Auel replied that he cannot provide a time table; that he is doing the best <br />he can. Mr. Auel noted that only two families are complaining and one of those <br />has moved from the area. <br /> <br />Mrs. Larry Henke - 8062 154th - Stated that Mr. Auel's property is a bad situation. <br /> <br />Mr. Auel pointed out that there are many homes in the area with 3 times as muc~ <br />wood on their properties as he has. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann that Mr. Auel have <br />his logs cut and stacked by the time of Council's regular meeting scheduled <br />for the 4th Tuesday in January, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Reimann. Voting No: <br />Councilmembers Van Wagner and Schlueter. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~ber Wagner that Mr. Auel have his logs cut and stacked by <br />the time of Council's regular meeting scheduled for the 4th Tuesday in April, <br />1984. <br /> <br />Motion fails for a lack of second. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that there are so many nuisance problems in <br />Ramsey that should be enforced~and at least Mr. Auel is attempting to comply <br />with the City's requests. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that if a citizen approaches his office wishing <br />to file a complaint against Mr. Auel, and if Mr. Auel is in violation of <br />the ordinance, he will have to go forward with action. City Attorney Goodrich <br />noted that he could delay legal action against Mr. Auel, if necessary, if <br />Council has set a deadline by which Mr. Auel will have taken care of the log <br />pile. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner that Mr. Auel have his logs cut and stacked <br />by the time of Council's regular meeting scheduled for the 4th Tuesday in <br />January. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec seconded the motion for discussion. <br /> <br />C/November 22, 1983 <br /> Page 9 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
