f) Authorization To Pre~are Plans And S~ecifications And Call For Bids On <br /> Well And Irrigation System At Central Park - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter <br />directing the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for well <br />and irrigation equipment and call for bids. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Sorteberg inquired where this money <br />would be coming from. Mr.. Schnelle replied that it is taken from the <br />total Park Fund Budget and no more money will be budgeted for Central <br />Park improvements until 1985. Councilmember Reimann inquired if Community <br />School monies could be used to develop Central Park. Mr. Schnelle replied <br />that would be possible by a motion from Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />g) Finalizing 1983 Public Improvement Projects - <br /> <br />1) Setti.n~ Interest Rate - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to establish the interest rate of 10.5% (simple interest) <br />on assessed street improvement and sealcoating projects. The assessment <br />will equal the principal payment with declining balance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Adopting Resolution Declaring Costs to be Assessed And Ordering Prepara- <br /> tion Of Proposed Assessments - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to adopt Resolution ~83-136 declaring cost to be assessed and ordered <br />and preparation of proposed assessment for Street Improvement Project <br />#83-1, MSAS Variolite Street NW and 155th Avenue NW. (please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution #83-136). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to adopt Resolution #83-137 declaring cost to be assessed and ordered <br />and preparation of proposed assessment for Sealcoating Project ~83-4, <br />Klemish Addition.
