ORDINANCE #04-10 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY ~;TATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVI- SION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- TIONS 9.20.11 (R-1 RESIDENTIAL DIS- TRICT), 9.20.12 (R-2 RESIDENTIAL DIS- TRICT), AND 9.20.13 (R-3 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF THE CITY CODE OF RAM- SEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR ,PUBLICATION The following is the official summary .of Ordinance #04-10, which has been approved by the City Council of the .City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: Section 9.20.11 (R-1 Residential District), Subd. 6..E (General R-1 Residentia~ Performance Standards~ Lot Landscaping) is amended to require two overstory trees per unit. Sections 9.20.12, Subd. 5.f (R-2 Residential District, General R-2 Residential Performance Standards, Lot Landscaping) and 9.20.13, Subd. 5.e (R-3 Residential District, General R-3 Residential Performance Standards, Lo1 Landscaping) are proposed to be modified to establish' minimum landscaping requirements based on desired canopy coyer at plant maturity versus stem count~ per unit at time of platting. ~ SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DA~'_E The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and pub- lication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07.
