<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-08-202 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY OF RAMSEY’S SUPPORT OF APPLYING TO <br />THE STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT JOB CREATION FUND PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the “City”), desires to assist Brunswick <br />Corporation, a Publicly Traded Corporation, which is proposing to construct an expansion facility <br />in the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey understands that Brunswick Corporation, through and <br />with the support of the City, intends to submit to the Minnesota Department of Employment and <br />Economic Development an application for an award and/or rebate from the Job Creation Fund <br />Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey held a City Council meeting on August 11, 2015, to <br />consider this matter. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That after due consideration, the Mayor, City Council, and City Administrator of the City <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, hereby express their approval of the project proposed by Brunswick <br />Corporation and its application for an award and/or rebate from the Job Creation Fund <br />Program. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
