CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 07/28/2015 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />4. 12. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #15-07-189 Approving Name Change of Country Club Hills to Woodlands and Re -Affirming <br />Final Plat Approval; Case of US Home Corporation, doing business as Lennar Homes <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to adopt a resolution formally accepting the name change of Country Club Hills to <br />Woodlands. This resolution is necessary in order to allow the Plat to be recorded. <br />Notification: <br />Notification is not required. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />On September 9, 2014, the City Council approved a plat to be known as Country Club Hills to Greatland Homes. In <br />early 2015, Greatland Homes sold the project to Lennar Homes. At that time, Lennar Homes chose to change the <br />name of the project to Woodlands. In order for the Plat to be properly recorded, the City must pass a resolution <br />approving the name change of the Plat.
