Water demand is shaped by various <br />socioeconomic and climate factors, but planning and maintaining efficient systems are common <br />goals. <br />The following are indicators that changes in water supply system development and maintenance or <br />demand management could result in significant water use reduction: <br />• Water that is not accounted for (non -revenue) makes up more than 10% of the total water use, <br />which is a goal recommended by the American Water Works Association <br />WATER SUPPLY MASTER <br />PLAN- Draft June 2015 <br />
