Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-03-071 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 3ra and FINAL PAYMENT TO RICHARD KNUTSON, <br />INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-32 (AZURITE STREET NvW) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 25, 2001, City Council adopted Resolution #01-09-342 <br />approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 23, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-10- <br />395 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #01-32, Azurite Street, to Richard Knutson, Inc., <br />in the amount of $3 l 1,633.05, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $141,016.62. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended second partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $138,930.82. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended third and final payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $37,056.28. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes 3rd and final payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. <br />for Improvement Project #01-32, Azurite Street NW, in the amount of $37,056.28 on <br />March 23, 2004. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of March 2004. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Cook <br /> <br /> <br />
