WORK MEETING OF RA~SEY TOWN BOARD Oct. 10, 197~ The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Cox at 8:00 p.m. Present were Mr. Reimann, Mrs. Oliphant, Mr. Hopperstad, Mr. Goodrich, attorney, Mr. Steffens and Mr. Fricke. Mr. Hopperstad moved we table 'the resignation of the Building In- spector until the new council has been voted in. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Mrs. Oliphant voted against it. Mr. Hopperstad moved we have Mr.. Steffens as our representative on the committee to select the assessor. Seconded by Mrs. Oli- phant. Motion carried. Mr. Reimann moved we make a resolution that Mr. Fricke go ahead with this plan on ou~llocation for State Aid on our roads to the Minnesota State Highway Department. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Reimann moved the levy certification of 1975 be approved and that the Township Chairman be authorized to sign the levy certi- fication to the Anoka County Auditor. Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we purchase this soil map from the Anoka Soil and Water Conservation District, the price not to exceed $375.00. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we gran~ permission to Ed. Klemish to con- struct a building 2~x&O at 16921 Sodium St. N.W. for storage. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we table Mr. John Gfroerer, 17051 Yttrium St. N.W. request fora 3.2 beer license and set ups, also off sale liquor license until the new city council has a chance to act on it. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried. Mr. Reimann moved we grant permission for the construction of a barn 12x16 to Mr. Lyle Van Blaricom, 6739 153rd Lane N.W. Sec- onded bM Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we grant a variance to Mr. Dmald Chapman to take 20 feet from one lot and add it to the next lot, the front footage of these lots being changed would still have 200 feet or more on the road; taking 20 feet from lot 3 and adding it to lot 2 in Ramsey Terrace Block 1. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Mr. Hopperstad moved we present a resolution to Anoka County High- way Department and the Anoka County Board in regard to a bridge crossing on the Rum River in the vicinity directly east of the junction of Highway #5 and #~7 per attached map to letter. Sec- onded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried.
