Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-08-211 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR ADDITIONAL SPRAY PATCHING <br />ON CITY STREETS <br />WHEREAS, surplus funds are available within the budgeted funds to perform other <br />maintenance projects; and <br />WHEAREAS, an invitation for quotations were mailed to two contractors; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br />Contractor <br />RCM Specialties Inc. <br />Pavement Resources <br />Total Quote <br />$61,675.01 <br />$117,650.00 <br />WHEREAS, RCM Specialties Inc.is the lowest responsible quote. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with RCM Specialties Inc. in the amount of $61,675.01 for additional spray patching <br />on City streets. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25th day of August, 2015. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />RESOLUTION #15-08-211 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
