SPECIAL RAMSEY TOWN BOARD MEETING <br /> March 21, 197~ <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:50 for the purpose of dis- <br />cussing the maps of North Central Public Service Co. relating <br />to gas lines being proposed for some areas of Ramsey Township <br />for this coming summer. Present were Mr. Murphy, Mr. Hopperstad, <br />Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Oliphant. <br /> <br />We have received these maps from Mr. David Richard and a letter <br />from Mr. Foss. These maps were gone over today by our engineer, <br />Mr. Fricke~ and Mr. Cox read his report on the maps. <br /> <br />Mr. Murphy moved that North Central Public Service Co. be assigned <br />a location of nine (9) feet off the right-of-way line on the <br />north and east sides of the streets. Gas mains should be in- <br />stalled no less than thirty (30) inches deep and service lines <br />should be at the same elevation. Crossings of rural road sec- <br />tions must be at least 50 [thi'rty) inches deeper than the ditches <br />or as otherwise approved by the Township engineer. Seconded by <br />Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried. <br /> <br />We will also send a letter to North Central Public Service re- <br />questing that they consider supplying gas service to Rodeo Hills, <br />Gorham's First Addition on Highway No. ~7 and the new elementary <br />school being erected on Nowthen Blvd. We have received a peti- <br />tion signed by 16 people in the northern area. There are 20 <br />houses in this development. <br /> <br />We will write a letter to Mr. Felegy requesting what information <br />he has received with regard to the Harbor Development Corporation. <br />We have received a letter from this company with another check <br />and a request for renewal of mining permit and we request a letter <br />from the County stating this meets with their approval. <br /> <br />Discussion on Mr. Merscham who bought some property from Mr. Voit <br />on 175rd Ave. N.W. Mr..Pittman will contact Mr. Voit about this <br />matter. <br /> <br />Secretary will call Big Bear in St. Cloud to see if we can get <br />a Lincoln Welder from them. <br /> <br />Discussion on possible committee for building town hall. Also <br />possible well and sewer inspection. Park Department needs weld- <br />ing done on the playground equipment before spring. <br /> <br />Discussion on zoning officer. <br />Secretary will tell Mike Aujspos to check out the Junction of <br />154th and Ramsey Blvd. for junk cars. <br /> <br />Next meeting will be an organizational one. <br /> <br />Each member of the Board was questioned as to whether they thought <br /> <br /> <br />
