TOWNSHI P OF RAMSEY COU NTY OF ANOKA ~ STATE OF MINNESOTA ~'~ NOTICE OF TIME FOR FILING AFFIDAVITS OF CANDIDACY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, to the residents of the Town of Ramsey in the County of Anoka and State of Minnesota, that Affidavits of Candidacy for positions to I be elected at the Annual Town Meeting and Election on Tuesday, March 12, 1974, must be filed at the Ramsey I Town Hall, 14100 SI. Francis Blvd. N.W.. Anoka, 'Minnesota between Monday, January 281 1974 and Monday, February 11, 1974, inclusive. A fee of 52.00 must be paid before an Affidavit of Candidacy will be accepted. . The tollowing offices will be filled at said election: One (1) Supervisor for a term of three (3) years Two (2) Supervisors for terms pursuant to special legislation passed by the Minn. State LegiSlature during the )973 Legislative Session. One (1) Clerk for a term of two (2) years The Ramsey Town Hall is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. James M. Clasen ~ being duly sworn, on oath says he is and during all the times herein stated has been the editor ~ of the news- paper known as The Anoka County Union and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the English language in news- paper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed space to at least 900 square inches. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 50% of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly. dupli- cate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Anoka in the County of Anoka and it has its known office of issue in the City of An!Jka in said county, established and open during its regular business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertise- ments and sale of subscriptions and maintained by Arch G. Pease or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and control during all such regular business hours and at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State fIistorical Society. (7) Said newspaper has com- plied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1, 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affi- davit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by Arch G.
