SPECIAL MEETING OF RAMSEY TOWN BOARD
March tl, 197~

RE: Rebuilding Sunfish Lake Blvd. N. W.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Murphy,
at ~:20 p.m. Present were Mr. Cox and Mr. Hopperstad.

After meeting with the County Highway Department and looking
at the new design which was drawn up by the County Engineer's
staff to take into consideration many of the views presented
by the people at the hearing on March ~, 197~, we realize
that if this road isn't acted upon, we might lose the possi-
bility of having this year's work done by the County. The
Board, therefore, met to make a determination to request Mr.
Fields to forward this resolution to dedicate Sunfish Lake
Blvd. to Anoka County.

A motion was made by Mr. Cox to recommend that the County pro-
ceed with construction of this road and that we accept the
newly proposed right of way center line of Sunfish Lake Blvd.
and Highway No. 57 discussed at the previous hearing with the
changes at the south end of the boulevard, with the right of
way to be purchased on the easterly portion of the road only
and including two additional curves where right of ways were
adjusted per residents' requests and also that the CountM try
to keep the right of way expense as alose to $10,000 as possible
and that they remove only trees that are absolutely necessary.
Seconded by Mr. Hopperstad. Motion carried.

Respectfully subm~ted,
Deputy Clerk ~/
