Join us for the last concert of the Summer Event Series at The Draw park and amphitheater tonight, Thursday, August 27, from 6:30-8:00 pm! Featuring Tumblin' Dice, one of the best Rolling Stones tribute bands around! Stop by early for the Ramsey Farmers Market, running from 3:00-7:00 pm. The Draw Summer Event Series comes to an end next week on Thursday, September 3, with the Park Patron Picnic from 5:30-7:00 pm. The Ramsey Farmers Market will continue at The Draw into Fall. Pay Equity Compliance: Every three years the City is required to submit a Pay Equity Report to Minnesota Management and Budget. Pay Equity is a method of eliminating discrimination against women who are paid less than men for jobs requiring comparable levels of expertise. The City recently received notice that it is compliant with the Local Government Pay Equity Act. The compliance report includes four tests: the completeness and accuracy test, the statistical analysis test, the salary range test and exceptional service pay test. The City passed all four tests. Highway 10 & Armstrong Boulevard Interchange — • Work is progressing on the railroad bridge abutments with the north abutment being complete. • The retaining wall along northbound Armstrong Boulevard, north of the railroad tracks, is complete. • Crews are working to complete the retaining wall along southbound Armstrong Boulevard, north of the railroad tracks. • Work began last week on the westbound on-ramp for Highway 10. • Substantial project completion is scheduled for the end of October, 2015. Garnet Street & 168" Avenue Reconstruction — • Utilities work is complete. • The soils correction subcut is nearly complete. • Construction is anticipated to be complete by mid-October, weather permitting. Jarvis Street Reconstruction — • Pavement reclamation work is underway. • Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of October, weather permitting.
