Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #14-10-219 RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENTS OVER RAMSEY HRA OWNED PROPERTY WHEREAS, Anoka County is proposing improvements to the intersection of CSAH 83 (Armstrong Boulevard) & U.S. Highway 10 to improve traffic operations and increase safety; and WHEREAS, permanent and temporary stormwater ponding improvements are proposed on two Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) owned parcels located within the COR TWO PLAT; and WHEREAS, parcels include OUTLOT A PID: 28-32-25-22-0058 and LOT 1 BLOCK 1 PID: 28-32-25-23-0011; and WHEREAS, Anoka County obtained appraisals on said HRA-owned property in the amount of $58,500 and $32,200 for the purpose of securing permanent and temporary easements over portions of each property for stormwater ponding; and WHEREAS, OUTLOT A includes a 52,000 square foot permanent easement and LOT 1 BLOCK 1 includes a 1,911 square foot permanent easement and a 8,800 square foot temporary easement; and WHEREAS, Anoka County is offering to pay the Ramsey HRA an amount of $58,500 and $32,200 to obtain a permanent and temporary easements over portions of said Ramsey HRA owned properties. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the Ramsey HRA hereby accepts the offer of $58,500 and $32,200 from Anoka County to purchase permanent and temporary easements for stormwater ponding over the portions of HRA-owned properties. 2) That all funds obtained through this transaction shall be deposited in accordance to the City's Policy for the Reimbursement of Land Proceeds and Tax Increment for TIF District #14. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
