Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-09-222 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TEMPORARY HOUSING INTERN <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs temporary Interns to work in the Community <br />Development; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has found a significant benefit to interns; and <br />WHEREAS, staff selected a qualified student intern and recent graduate candidate <br />looking for experience; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate passed the pre-employment screening; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring the selected 2015 Housing Intern candidate. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to hire the following employees: <br />A) Housing Intern: Michael Healy at $12.00 per hour effective on or near September 9, <br />2015 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 8th day of September 2015. <br />
