A group from Ramsey Township met with the Anoka-Henn. I~d. Sch. Dist.
~ll about having the next school built in Ramsey To%,mshzp. The
School Board said fine and that they were looking for a good loca-
tion out here. Having 'the school out here will not add to ou]3 taxes.
We vould like to have them make this an e~cational complex mid we
would be able to use this for our community projects and needs.

Mr. Leroy Bearl has made a request for a per, alt for a permane~t mobile
home in l!~amsey Tov~ship 2~x60 on Industry Avenue, This is not possible
as all mobile homes must be in mobile home parks.

Mrs. Guy has been hired as secretary for the Tov~ashi~ to?ork, in the
To~aa Hall. Hours will be 9:00 to ~:~O. Will start ~~Sth~ If
anyone has questions be sure to call the Township Hall.

Mr. Lyle Bradley, a supervisor from Grow Towmship~ was present. He
said they were getting ready to pass a gun ordinance there. Doro-
thy Bridge~ in this Grow Township, had her ducks shot and them also
shot at her house. With such tremendous growth and v~th so many gun
violators, it would seem we should be thinking of such an ordinance.
It might be good to close hunting to everything west of County Rpad
9 and everything south of County Road 16. If people have tO acres
or more they could get a special permit even if they are in that
restricted area. The permit time could be indefinite but it can also
be terminated. Fee in Grow To~mship v~ll be $2.00.

Grow To~,~ship has had many day time burglaries. They need more po-
lice protection. Some places they are using a constable for a com-
plete area of one block. The calls can go directly to the sheriff's
office. There have been quite a few calls coming in from Ramsey
To~nship. We could use ~ or 5 deputies in Ramsey Township. They
will need ~ to 6 people for Grow Township. We will check ~th
Auspos about this situation.

Bowers Drive should receive approximately two inches of Class V
gravel from Highway lO approach to asphalt mat at the southeast end
of the road. Some ditching will be necessary to maintain surface
water drainage off the roadway.

The Bison Street approach should be raised to improve visibility and
to improve ~inter access to the through street.

16&.th A~e. N.W. from Saphire to Variolite should be graded to a
~ral section.
The iow points in !60th Lane should be filled to prevent seasonal
flooding of the roadway. The west end of this street should be re-
graded to eliminate surface water drainage from the roadway.

The clay streets in the general vicinity of the East half of Sec-
tion 1 and 'the clay streets in the vicinity of the Russell property
on the east side of the Rum River should be provided v~th gravel base.

Jaspar Street in the vicinity of 166th and 167th should be graded to
a z~ral section and if possible the ditches should be extended out
to County Road 5.
