RLGULAR Mt:.ETZNG OF RA~?~k.Y TO~N BOARD March 20~ 197 The meeting was called to order at ~00 p.m. by Mr. Scarborough, Chairman. Present were Mr. Mu~phy~ ~-~. Paterson and Mr. Cox. Mr. Paterson was swoml in as Town Clerk. Mr. Arnold Cox was sworn in as supervisor. Mr. Scarborough asked that Mr. Goodrich bring his annual report to the next meeting. The next item was balloting for chairm~n of the board for the en- suing year. Er. ;<u~phy was elected chairman for the ensuing year. The minute~ of the last stated meeting were read. Correction to delete the second sentence about liquor licensing in the Township. Also The final plat for Prookview Estates was accepted at t~e March 6th meeting. ~,r. 2carborough moved the minutes be accepted with tne~ corrections. ~r. Cox seconded the motion. The minute~ of the last Planning and Zoning Commeission meeting were read by the Ch&irman~ Er. :~eimann. There was a cha~ge sug- Masted for the Oog Ordinance. ~uch a change could not be ~mde without a public hearing. Our dog kennels have been approved by the ~tate of Minnesota. ~here are 52 miles of roads in ~amsey Township and we feel ~,~r. ~alton has done a tremendous Job in the handling of the dog ordinance. It was suggested we might have a dog clinic to Met some of the dogs inoculaSed,for rabies. Mr. ~carborough proposed we have the sheriff out to explain his Xdeas about police protection for Ramsay Township to the people living here. Ham Lake Township has applied for incorporation. Grow~ 2owaship ha~ applle~ for incorporation, i~ would seem this might be a good time for Hamaey Township to apply for incorporation. people present showed by a raise of hand~ that they were in favor of incorporation into a village. March 27th is a publlo hearing on the platting ordinance by the Planning ~ud Zoning Co~ission. April lOth will be a public hearing on whether ~tamaey Township should incorporate into a village.
