<br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15-09-222 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TEMPORARY HOUSING INTERN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />annually the City employs temporary Interns to work in the Community <br />Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, staff has found a significant benefit to interns; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, staff selected a qualified student intern and recent graduate candidate <br />looking for experience; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />candidate passed the pre-employment screening; and <br /> the <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff recommends hiring the selected 2015 Housing Intern candidate. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to hire the following employees: <br /> <br /> <br />A)Housing Intern: Michael Healy at $12.00 per hour effective on or near September 9, <br />2015 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
