Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #15-09-234 RESOLUTION TO HIRE AN ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR TO FILL THE CURRENT VACANCY WHEREAS, the former Assistant Finance Director, Ms. Denelle McAlpine left employment with the City of Ramsey on September 12, 2015; and WHEREAS, due to the critical nature of the position, an extensive recruitment and selection process was conducted to fill the vacancy; and WHEREAS, Ms. Angela McIntire has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and is recommending that Ms. Angela McIntire be hired as the City's new Assistant Finance Director, effective October 12, 2015 at $37.36 per hour, which is step 3 of the 2015 wage scale; and WHEREAS, Ms. Angela McIntire will be subject to a 6 -month probationary period and all other personnel policies will apply normally. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Motion to adopt resolution #15-09-234, to hire Ms. Angela McIntire as the City's new Assistant Finance Director effective October 12, 2015 at $37.36 per hour, which is step 3 of the 2015 wage. The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September 2015.
