Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-09-218 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2015, PAYABLE 2016 TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2015, payable 2016, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 1,200,000 <br />Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 75,618 <br />Collected as Property Tax General Levy 7,291,463 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />CIP Bond — Municipal Center 1,072,013 <br />CIP Bond — Fire Station #1 147,420 <br />2013 Equipment Certificates 74,505 <br />2014 GO Road Improvement Bonds 103,144 <br />2014 Equipment Certificates 103,441 <br />CIP Bond — Fire Station #2 109,213 <br />$8,567,081 <br />1,609,736 <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 10,176,817 <br />2) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $338,664 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br />Refunding Bond, Series 2011B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br />3) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,125,613 (105% of debt service) <br />related to the GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />The City will levy at 100% of debt service or $1,072,013. <br />3) That the City of Ramsey's 2016 Public Budget Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, <br />December 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. <br />
