Auqust 15, 1983 I today reviewed both the site and the site plan for the above referenced expansion. My comments on the site plan, building plans and site are as follows: 1) The proposed addition is to the south of the existing building and will be located where there is presently a shed roof addition, several small storage buildings and two trailers which are being used for storage. 2) The site plan does not show the existing house, existing garage or any proposed parking. 3) If the site plan is accurate, the existing on-site septic system is located in the blacktop driveway. 4) One structure shown on the site plan as a storage shed is actually a box car. 5) At the time I visited the site, there were 12 or 13 cars parked in the area. There was no additional parking available. 6) The frost footings, as proposed, do not meet code. 7) The wall openings necessary to negate the need for a sprinkler system are not shown. 8) The building heat loss calculations were not provided. 9) The plans have not been signed by a registered architect or engineer. 10) The plans are not complete. Inasmuch as this is only an expansion, it would be my recommendation that this proposed addition be approved contingent upon the following: I I 1) That the applicant shall comply with all requirements of the building code. 2) That the site plan shall show the existing house and garage. 3) That the site plan shall show proposed parking and that said parking, including one handicap site, shall be properly marked.
