The <br />total amount.of aid to be distributed to ail cities in 1984 is $246,200,000. The <br />1984 local government aid that has been determined for your city is shown on the <br />enclosed notice. The first of the six monthly installments of this aid will be paid <br />on July 15, 1984. <br /> <br />The"enclosed notice also lists a number of factors that pertain to your city which <br />were used in determining your city's local government aid. The' following, is an <br />explanation of these factors. <br /> <br />1. 1980 FEDERAL CENSUS POPULATION: This is the 1980 Federal Census count. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />1981 POPULATION ESTIMATE: If your city is located in the seven county <br />metropolitan area, this is the 1981 population estimate determined by the <br />~letropolitan Council. If your city is located outside of the metropolitan <br />area, this is the 1981 population estimate determined by the State Demographer's <br />Office. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CURRENT POPULATION ESTIMATE: If your city is located in the seven county <br />metropolitan area, this is the 1983 population estimate determined by the <br />l.!etropolitan Council. If your city is located outside of the metropolitan <br />area, this is the 1982 population estimate determined by the State Demographer's <br />Office.
