Princeton has UDAC and Tax Increment
Financing available which Ramsey does not. Mr. Schnelle 'stated that all the
specifics involved in this case can be provided in writing. He stated that
there are also two philosophies involved; Ramsey residents have indicated that
they want rural life with no commercial growth and Princeton'~s philosophy is
very different - they are striving for commercial development.

Mayor Gamec stated that the reasons for Dickenson leaving Ramsey was to save
3% on interest, to be able to start construction right away and Ramsey was not
eligible to offer the same package as Princeton.

Councilmember P~imann inquired as to the policy regarding "Children At Play"
signs.

Mr. Schnelle replied that one of the contingencies agreed to when we applied
for a Federal grant for signs was that we not use any "Children At Play" signs
because it seems to imply that it is alright for children to play in the streets.

Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to
adjourn the special Council meeting.

Motion carried.
