There was discussion on a post and cable fence maybe installed at the Peltzer
Park to insure no one drives too close to the playground equipment. It was
requested that Street Superintendent Mevissen investigate the possibility of
installing his and report back to them.

There was also some discussion on the expansion of the parking area at the
Ramsey Elementary School. The general concensus was that when Ramsey Central
Park was completed, it would help eleviate this problem.

The issue of donated equipment to the Ramsey parks was also discussed. It
was requested that Street Superintendent Mevissen and City Engineer Raatikka
inspect all of the City parks and their equipment and note their findings in
regards to the safety of said equipment. In the future any donated equipment
should be brought to the attention of the Park Board to insure the procedures
outlined in the Council's resolution are followed.

Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by Commissioner McLean requesting
Street Superintendent Mevissen and City Engineer Raatikka make an inspection
of all City parks and their equipment and report back to them their findings
in regards to the safety of said equipment.

Motion carried.
