Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-10-245 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR RESURFACING OF POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT GARAGE FLOORS <br />WHEREAS, this project is listed in the 2014 CIP for funding in the amount of $15,000.00; <br />and <br />WHEAREAS, an invitation for quotations were mailed to two contractors; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br />Contractor Total Quote <br />SwedeBro Resurfacing $15,500.00 <br />Additional Concrete Services, Inc. (ACS) $23,895.00 <br />WHEREAS, SwedeBro Resurfacing is the lowest responsible quote. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with SwedeBro Resurfacing in the amount of $15,500.00 for resurfacing the police <br />department garage floors. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of October, 2015. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #15-10-245 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
