Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-10-244 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALE OF A TAX FORFEIT <br />PARCEL IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY — PIN 23-32-25-11-0070 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received notification from the Anoka County Board <br />of Commissioners that PIN 23-32-25-11-0070 ("Subject Property A") has been classified as tax <br />forfeited land; and <br />WHEREAS, classification and sale of any tax forfeited land lying within the bounds of <br />any incorporated municipality must be approved by the governing body of such municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 24, 2012, the City Council, upon recommendation of staff, <br />determined Subject Property A would serve no public purpose and should therefore not pursue <br />acquisition of this parcel; and <br />WHEREAS, a resolution approving the classification of tax forfeit and authorizing the <br />sale of such parcel was not adopted at that time; and <br />WHEREAS, a resolution has been placed on this agenda for formal adoption approving <br />the classification of Subject Property A as tax forfeit and that it be offered for sale to an adjacent <br />property owner. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESTOA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey has no need for the parcel known as PIN 23-32-25-11-0070. <br />2) That the City of Ramsey hereby approves the classification and sale of this tax forfeit <br />parcel. <br />3) That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to submit a copy of this resolution to Anoka <br />County for their records. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
