WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on April 1, 2004,. conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an amendment to <br />the Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the adjacent land uses are designated as Rural Developing, Low Density <br />Residential, and Medium Density Residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City finds that given the variety of lot sizes and development intensity <br />SUiTounding the subject property, a land use designation of Low Density Residential is appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br /> the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential for the following <br /> parcels: <br /> <br /> PID # <br /> 23-32-25-22-0011 <br /> 23-32-25-23-0003 <br /> 23 -32-25-23 -0005 <br /> 23-32-25-23-0004 <br /> 23-32-25-23-0001 <br /> 23-32-25-23-0010 <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br /> documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to <br /> change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification <br /> of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br />__th day of ,2004. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04- <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
