WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on April 1, 2004,. conducted a public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the adjacent land uses are designated as Rural Developing, Low Density Residential, and Medium Density Residential; and WHEREAS, the City finds that given the variety of lot sizes and development intensity SUiTounding the subject property, a land use designation of Low Density Residential is appropriate. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of the Subject Property from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential for the following parcels: PID # 23-32-25-22-0011 23-32-25-23-0003 23 -32-25-23 -0005 23-32-25-23-0004 23-32-25-23-0001 23-32-25-23-0010 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation to Low Density Residential. 3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification of approval from Metropolitan Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the __th day of ,2004.
