-4- <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />October 13, 1976 <br /> <br />Mayor Cox reported on an annual assessor's meeting which he and Mr. Wirz <br />attended at the County. He said it was a rather boring meeting due to the <br />fact that the person who presided at the meeting was notified the night before <br />of the meeting and was not well prepared. He said 1/4 of the community will <br />be assessed this year for market value only. He said he inquired about limited <br />market value and limitations in homes. He said is is an extreme burden not to <br />have the limitation to the top. Mr. Leone gave him a simple,breakdown which <br />he passed out to the Councilpeople. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorha~seconded by Mickelson to pay Mr. Triggs for the use of his own <br />vehicle in assessing at the rate of $.15 per mile. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Park & Recreation CommissiQn Resignations. <br />Mayor Cox read the resignation of Bob Benson who was replaced by Craig Fiedler. <br />Kathy Schneider said she feels something should be sent now apologizing that <br />it has taken so long to find his resignation. She said the Park & Recreation <br />CommissiOn had never seen his official resignation. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read Ken Peterson's letter of resignation. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Reimann to send letters to both Ken Peterson <br />and Robert Benson thanking them for their service. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Resolution for moving structures. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to pass Resolution No. 21 with change <br />of ~100.00 minimum amount of deposit for expenses payable before inspection and <br />if it appears that the cost will exceed $100.00, the building inspector may <br />at his discretion charge more than that. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Resolution establishing fees.for plumbing permits. <br />Motion by Mickelson, S66ond6d bY Reimann to adopt Resolution No. 22 as presented <br />to establish fees for plumbing permits issued in the City of Ramsey. 4 Ayes <br /> Gorham abstained <br /> <br /> Resolution reducing the number of funds used in City accounting. <br /> Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Reimann to adopt Resolution No. 23 reducing <br />e~mber of funds used in City accounting. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Resolution establishing a Capital Projects Fund. <br />Motion by Gorham, s~conded by Mickel'son to adopt Resolution No. 24 establishing <br />a aC~-~-~tal Projects. Fund. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Resoluti~on for establishin9 a Capital Improvements Fund. <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Gorham to adopt Resolution No. 25 establishing <br />a Capital Improvements Fund. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />Resolution for writing off uncollectible accounts. <br />Motion by Mickelson, seconded by Gorham to adopt Resolution No. 26, ~authorizing <br />Council to write off uncollectible accounts. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
