He read a stipulation pertaining to the settlement. <br />The Council discussed the stipulation, but no action was taken. <br />Mr. Goodrich is to represent the City at a Writ of mandamus for a <br />District Court Order for a change from B-1 to R-1 on Wednesday, <br />October 22nd. <br /> <br />Resolution to support the Metro .Council's CAB draft position report. <br />I~-~~-6keI§~n, s~-6-gn~G0rham ~ a resolution to support the <br />Metro Council's CAB draft position report as discussed by Mr. Walker. <br /> Carried 4 to O. Oliphant abstained. <br /> <br />~r Cox requested an estimated sum spent on lawsuits for Attorney <br />'ef~ ~e--~f~-~or--~ey, Mr. Goo~-fc~d~-~a~-d~gure of $600. <br />plus that additional costs will be considerably higher in the near <br />future. Mayor Cox indicated that the cost will be paid from all <br />of the Cities Taxes. <br /> <br />Revenue Sharin~ Reports: Motion by Reimann, second by Mickelson for <br />tH~ Mayor 'fo s'mgn {he Planned Use Report and the Actual Use Report <br />of the current Revenue Sharing funds. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />Liquor License discussion: Councilman Gorham reported that his <br />c°~ittee~ wOrke~ very h~rd on the liquor license ordinance that was <br />passed on May 27, 1975, by the Council, and on June 9, 1975~ a split <br />liquor program was adopted - on-sale private and off-sale reserved <br />for the City of Ramsey. Mayor Cox brought out that the City, at the <br />present time with its low budget, has very little funds for bonding <br />and store inventory, and cannot afford it at the present time. <br />Mayor Cox further stated that we reserved the right until 10,000 <br />population and, then, review our position again. <br /> <br />9:30 P.M. Review of Agenda and Proceed further <br /> <br />Council set the date of a public ~earing on the F!intwood Hills <br />~0 P.M. on November ~d at the Ra~sey Elementary c co <br />Cafeteria and set the date for the public hearing on the Gateway <br />North Industrial Plat for 8:00 P.M. on November 3rd at th%--am~y <br />~n'tgrY''Sc'hool Cafeteria. <br /> <br />Review of Planner Candidates: A discussion on the selection of the <br />planner ~o~-'the update 6l~'the Comprehensive Plan was held. Motion <br />by Gotham, second by Mickelson to accept the proposal of Oren Fricke, <br />Bernard Steffen~ and William Goodrich to provide professional services <br />to update the present Comprehensive Plan for a sum not to exceed <br />$9500.00. <br /> Carried ~. to 1. Otiphant voted against. <br /> <br />A moritorium on building in the City of Ramsey was discussed. No <br />actio'n' at 'fhi~-t'ime. <br /> <br /> <br />
