- 2 - C.& P&Z3/31/75 <br /> <br />We should look at increasing development in the southeastern part <br />of the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich: He discussed the proposed Planning & Zoning Ordinance. <br />Discussion on Board of Adjustment. He thinks all present members <br />should reapply if they wish to be on the Planning & Zoning Com- <br />mission. <br /> <br />Garnett Pettersen: They want permission for Pigeon Bingo for the <br />Pigeon Fanciers Club of America. Mr. Reimann moved we grant Mr. <br />Pettersen a permit to have Pigeon Bing~ On Ma~"~, i975 at 15565 <br />Ramsey Blvd. N.W. between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. <br />Oliphant. Motion carried. <br /> <br />FloodControl Program: A mortgage cannot be closed without flood <br />insurance and residents cannot get flood insurance. Mr. Steffens <br />will check into this matter. <br /> <br />We will have representation at the State Capitol tomorr~night <br />from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Additional buildings on lots other than houses: Mr. Goodrich wants <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission to give them some language as to <br />what they want in this line. Mr. Sorteberg said the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission would like a scale set up on this matter. <br /> <br />Pole Buildings in Cmmmercial and industrial areas: This was also <br />referred to Mr. Goodrich. He wants language for this item also. <br />Mr. Sorteberg says now each pole building has to have separate <br />permission before a permit is issued. Mr. Goodrich is working on <br />a package ordinance. <br /> <br />We should indicate to Dr. Brunnel that we would appreciate the <br />word Ramsey on his sign. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox will ask someone to talk to the City about a chemical <br />system for sewerage. We need to look ahead to possibly set aside <br />an area for a system of this type. <br /> <br />Mr. Sorteberg asked about the scenic easement. We need three of <br />the l0 size fire extinguishers, one for the inside room of the <br />hall and two for the garage. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson: He wants to know when his request for rezoning <br />would be considered. He had had a tentative date of April 1st. <br />Mr. Cox said we have to decide what areas would be considered in <br />the three plus square miles for tax based commercial property or <br />both. <br /> <br />Mr. Menkveld: He asked about pole buildings. <br /> <br />Mr. Sorteberg wamted to know who is going to draw up the legal <br />descriptions for'the scenic easement. Surveyor could be respon- <br />sible for drawing up the legal description and then have it checked <br /> <br /> <br />
