On site systes~ should be adequate to last for a long time. Mr. Holasek feels if we can put men ,on the moon~-why caner we design an, on site system, that. can work for a long period of time. Mr. 6orham said they are now working .on it. Mr. Weaver asked how much of the city they felt would some day be sewered. Would we need~it for the whole city? He left at 9:00 p.m. Mr. Steffena saidthe MC Waste Control Commission is. not planning for enough capacity. Police now require 120 hours instead of 80 hours of training. It is a bad time to raise costs. If it is'something that is needed, then the State should help in'these matters. ~hen the levy limit was put in several years ago, it was .thought this would take care.of it, but with inflation, this is not enough. A suggestion was made by Mr. Cox,' that when newcommunities are incorporated, they should not have an election for three to six months after the incorporation so as to give the new city a chance to get their affairs started with experienced'people. Mr. Anderson said a bill. will be passed next to straighten out the districts of 19-a and 19-b. They will need a resolution from Ramsey on this matter. They will send us the resolution and, if we wish, we can then pass such a resolution'. Mr. Anderson is on the financing, Judiciary and education committee. The State is in the process of trying tO straightenout school district lines. Pretty soon District 11 ~ill be the second largest school dis- trict in the state. Without state funding, the school,taxes out here couldhave been $3,O00.
