Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3) Quarterly Review of Franchise Fee Collections <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to take the discussion of <br />Case #3, Quarterly Review of Franchise Fee Collections, off the table. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion on the floor carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Zimmerman, <br />Cook, Kurak, Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4) Connexus Water Billings <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig reported the committee discussed the issue of the deficit in the Com~exus <br />water billings. Staff has not heard back from Connexus since the last scheduled meeting was <br />tabled, The committee asked staff to pursue setting up another meeting as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Case #5) Citizen Fine for Fire Department Services Rendered <br /> <br />Councihnembcr Elvig reported a citizen with concerns regarding a bill from the Fire Department <br />attended the connnittee meeting. Ten-y Robinson received a bill from the Fire Department for <br />putting out a fire on his property. There had been numerous problems with burning previously, <br />however, this time a fire started while they were gone. Mr. Robinson was very forthright that <br />they were in the wrong, but felt the bill was excessive at $600. The committee offered a period <br />of time to pay the bill, rather than in one lump sum, but did not offer a reduction in the fine. The <br />recommendation of the committee is to allow a three month period of time to pay the fine, which <br />would be the end of,luly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Zimn~erman, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Finance Committee for the case of Terry Robinson, 8650 181 ~t Avenue, <br />$600 Fine fbr Fire Department Services Rendered. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Strommen, Cook, <br />Elvig, Kurak, and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />Counci hnember Cook reported the Personnel Committee met and discussed the following cases: <br /> <br />Case #1) Consider Authorization to Hire an Information Technology Manager <br /> <br />City Council/April 27, 2004 <br /> Page 17 of 35 <br /> <br /> <br />
