The Police Chief and Fire Chief are in the process of reviewing the <br />circulation plan for safety purposes but the plan appears to be acceptable. <br /> <br />During the interim period when the temporary classrooms are on the site, parking for staff and <br />students will be located on the public streets surrounding the school. Approximately 125 parallel <br />parking spaces are available on the streets surrounding the school. It should be noted that the school <br />will be discouraging parking by students during the interim period. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the request for an interim use permit. The permit is drafted to <br />require the applicant to place a financial surety with the City ensuring that the required temporary <br />classrooms are removed from the site after October 15, 2004 as well as defining the timeline on <br />when the temporary classrooms may be utilized. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council adopt Findings of Fact relating to a request for an Interim <br />Use Permit to place temporary classroom buildings on the P.A.C.T.
