CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lurid <br />Police Chief Way <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:37 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Connexus Energy Utility Billing <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund informed the Council that Connexus sent a letter requesting additional <br />information. Staff would like to know if the Council wants them to take the time to put that <br />together. It pertains to the under-billing of what was collected in the last seven years, and does <br />not really apply to what they were looking at, although it is public information. <br /> <br />Councihnember Strornmen suggested Connexus be supplied with the information that was <br />ah'eady gathered, as that is the pertinent information. <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig noted Connexus made the comment that anything over three years, and <br />certainly six years, is not relevant.
