AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ACE SOLID WASTE INC., AND THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY FOR THE EXTENSION OF SEWER AND WATER SERVICES DOWN <br />BASALT STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ace Solid Waste currently has sewer and water service to their facility <br />located at 6601 McKinley Street NW, but desires to construct an additional facility on this site <br />which would be best service from the north; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has a contract under Improvement Project #03-27 <br />which has extended sanitary sewer and water to within approximately 350 feet from the northern <br />boundary of the ace Solid Waste site, and can facilitate the extension of sewer and water to this <br />site through a change order to this contract. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey will execute a Change Order to extend eight inch sanitary sewer and <br />eight inch watermain with appurtenances to the southern terminus of Basalt Street, at an <br />estimated cost of $24,279.25, the actual price to be determined by final quantities. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Ace Solid Waste Inc., will pay to the City a portion of the cost in item (1) above, which is <br />estimated to be the equivalent cost of extending a six inch water service and six inch <br />sanitary sewer service to their property from the intersection of 141st Avenue and Basalt <br />Street. The estimated cost of this extension is estimated to be $15,533.22, as outlined in <br />the attachment entitled "Cost to Extend Water and Sewer Service down Basalt Street to <br />north property line of Ace Solid Waste." The actual cost to be determined in the final <br />quantities. <br /> <br />In Witness Whereof, the parties hereby execute this agreement. <br /> <br />Ace Solid Waste, Inc.
