Staff has made the change as directed by the <br />Council and the ordinance is eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />19 amending the MU-PUD district. <br /> <br />Cook: aye <br />Elvig: aye <br />Kurak: aye <br />Pearson: aye <br />Stronnnen: aye <br />Zimmerman: aye <br />Mayor Gamec:aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #12: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Amend Landscape Requirements in the B-1 Business, B- <br />2 Business, E-1 Employment, and E-2 Employment Zoning Districts <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon reviewed that on April 13, 2004, the City <br />Council introduced an ordinance to amend the landscape requirements in the commercial and <br />employment districts. The ordinance is now eligible for adoption. He noted the case discussed <br />earlier tonight with Precise Metalcraft had a lot of building and bituminous, and this ordinance <br />can be amended in the future if there are additional problems. <br /> <br />Jon Enstrom, 8701 - 131st Avenue, suggested there be an option for a site that has a difficulty <br />locating trees to mitigate the trees and make a donation of trees to City parks. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook stated this is a good suggestion. He suggested another option would be a <br />tree bank. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig suggested some language be added to the ordinance with Mr. Enstrom's <br />suggestion included. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen suggested the issue of tree mitigation and tree banking be discussed <br />in relation to all of the zoning districts. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested staff to add this topic to a worksession agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />20 to amend the landscape requirements in the B-1 Business, B-2 Business, E~I Employment, <br />and E-2 Employment Districts. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />City Council/April 27, 2004 <br /> Page 28 of 35 <br /> <br /> <br />
